SEHA offered 300 exciting training opportunities for Emirati students as part of its summer employment program
Abu Dhabi Health Services Company "SEHA" took part in several different employment events organized by the universities and colleges in Abu Dhabi in April, 2011. This effort is in line with SEHA’s strategy to support its Emiratization goals and create suitable work opportunities for people looking to develop a career in the health field. The campus visits covered a number of the big educational establishments including Al Hosn University in the 12th of April, the Abu Dhabi Women’s College in the 13th of April, the Abu Dhabi Men’s College in the 18th and 19th of April and finally Zayed University in the 25th of April.
As part of their strategy, “SEHA” offered 300 exciting training opportunities for Emirati students as part of its summer employment program. The training periods can be one or two months, according to what the trainee prefers. Through this training the students will have the chance to become familiar with the professional atmosphere within the healthcare field and with the practical application of their skills in SEHA’s many different hospitals and clinics around the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. These opportunities also include 20 vacancies for special needs students.
Mr. Mohammad Al Qemzi, the Acting HR Manager for “SEHA” said: “Our participation in these employment expos demonstrates our desire to attract local young talent and our commitment to our Emiratization goals. We are offering different training programs that help local citizens hone their skills and enhance their knowledge to meet the requirements of all fields.”
Mr. Al Qemzi added: “Additionally, our presence at these events gives us the chance to communicate with fresh graduates who are looking for the right work opportunity that will allow their practical skills to stand out.” He also emphasized that “SEHA”, which is regarded by some as a place only for doctors, nurses, and technicians, is also a place that requires outstanding individuals who are general managers and allied health field experts.
In January 2011, “SEHA” launched the “Let’s keep Abu Dhabi Smiling” campaign, which aims at introducing “SEHA” to job seekers, and to attract them to join the “SEHA” family and help provide the finest health services for its customers.
