Arab empowerment could equal doomsday for Israel

The U.S. and Israel - proponents of democracy- recoil at this Arab brand of democracy that could threaten Israel's future.
Onward Revolution: Ridding the Region of U.S. and Israeli Influence
Coherent commentary on the U.S. and Israel response to Revolutionizing Arabia.
"Islamic scholar Imran Hosein predicted in 2003 that one day Arab dictatorships would be swept away, leaving the people to think they were going to have a legitimate representative government. He stated, “It is in this scenario that Israel will say ‘we have to do something; if we just sit here and do nothing, the State of Israel will be destroyed and the Jews will all be slaughtered,’” precipitating a “pre-emptive strike” of unprecedented proportions.
If this seems like a doomsday scenario or a little too far-fetched, one has only to look as far as Jerusalem University Online.com, which has posted ads on Facebook warning that “Israel could be gone tomorrow: join our ‘Without Israel’ campaign to ensure it doesn’t happen.”

My Syria: Why I actually do heart Syria
"There is a quite ridiculous #iheartsyria twitter trend that was annoying me a few days ago. Countless inane comments were made about Syria, comments which, in my opinion, could be made about any country in the world. Yet in a strange way there is something that I do like about Syria, and this is something that I did not wish to express in only 140 characters."

BB is finally out! Buy now!
The story behind this design is simple! Blackberry smartphones are now popular, many bought the device for the Blackberry Messenger software/service which is a chatting system that only works on the devices with the service, called BBM as a short-name, people can add each other through codes, every device has its own code. Easy?
Now, Us Arabs tend to Arabise things in funny ways… the question that most of Arab Blackberry users ask is “What’s your BBM pin?” which is either “Sho BB Emmak?” for guys, and “Sho BB Emmik?” for girls…
[-Ed, Moey please explain the joke! Even as a native Arabic speaker this one's lost on me...]

Adventure in Aquaventure
These rides are not code for something- they really live up to their awe-inspiring names, we're told...
"One place to must visit in Dubai is one of the water parks here. And if you live in Dubai then you must visit a water park at least once a year.
I know its wishful thinking because I don’t follow this advise myself and I have been living in Dubai for more than thee years now.
But then I took the plunge."....
"The next best ride was called the plunge. I can’t say much about it other than it was good but not as good as leap of faith.
But these two rides are worth the ticket to aquaventure, specially if you are an adventure lover.
The best strategy is to go there early, relax by the beach, take the river rides with your kids, have a snack and the head to the plunge, then leap of faith and then the take leap of faith again."

WHY DO MOST AMERICANS KNOW NOTHING ABOUT...Palestine?
Dr Alan Sabrosky (Ph.D, University of Michigan) brings us a thorough and graphic illustration of American's tinted or one way window into the Middle East and the fabrications or misconceptions as well as blindspots they seem to adhere to.
An encyclopedic and well evidenced blog entry, if you've got a window of time opportunity in your day, take a look...
"This is not intended for those who follow these issues, but as a primer for a general public (especially Americans) who do not follow them, and in fact are not even aware that they are issues! Hoping that others may also find useful material in it. Far too often, issues involving Israel and its actions are addressed in a sophisticated and complex manner, often with little or no linkage among them. This is fine for professionals who are well versed in the subject matter, and can infer detail and linkages where none is explicitly given or made."
