Blog for Jordan Day: hashtag on twitter #B4JO

Celebrating Jordan: sweet pastries and knafeh- some of the things people miss when away.
#B4JO What changes do we want in Jordan ?
An ode to Jordan:
"The only thing I wanted to talk about in Blog for Jordan Day this year was how much I miss Jordan!"
Doesn't mean there's no room for improvement though...

“Lebanon Blues”
Mich cafe offers us a roundup of the heated response emerging to this latest Lebanese Ministry of Tourism campaing:
“What do we think of ImpactBBDO’s latest campaigns to promote Lebanon?” Danielle Baiz (@meinLebanon) asked on her blog, This is Beirut, yesterday (March11).
And Abir G (@abzzyy) writes in her blog Life in Still Motion: “Shame on Lebanese Tourism Ministry… “
That was hours after Social Media platforms FaceBook and Twitter, and I’m sure many others, began sharing three tapes produced by advertising agency Impact BBDO SAL for Lebanon’s Ministry of Tourism.

#B4JO Ode To Tender Loving Jordanian Men
Don't forget the men!
"It’s Blog about Jordan day again, 2011. Here is a link to a pre-#B4JO post about my love affair with Jordan, which inspired this post.
Since we just had International Women’s Day, I am going to dedicate #B4JOw to the other gender. Time to recognize the little-applauded and much-maligned Arab male in a Jordanian package."

#B4JO Green Jordan
A critical voice in the midst of a chorus of homage.
"I find it hard to write something positive even though I promised 5hadz last year to write something so about Jordan this time .
So I decided to shed some light on the concept of green architecture by posting a video. Actually, I believe that if the Nile was God's gift to Egypt for real, then passive solar design is definitely his gift to Jordan."
Cruel to be kind? Might not critical love be purer love?

#B4JO 2011: I just don't feel like it!
Taking issue with the concept or interpretation of the blog 4JO day that turns into a test of loyalty to country.
"And so I will blog about not feeling like to "Blog For Jordan" on this day for this event.I just don't feel like writing.
This feeling one sometimes get from others that his "loyalty" to the country is questioned every time, and that I need to prove that I'm "100% Jordanian"

#B4JO Sands of home
"I don’t really know where to start; I have so many unorganized thoughts in my head…
The meaning of home changed so many times during the time I’ve been living here in the U.S, when I first came here 7 years ago, Jordan was the only place I want to be! I hated it here! I just hated it, although my mom, dad, and brothers were all here at the time, I just wanted to go back to Jordan, where my friends and cousins are.
Later things felt a little better, and I started to get used to life style here, but there wasn’t a day I wouldn’t think of Jordan and my friends in Jordan, and how amazing it would be if I just can go back “home”!"
