Fawaz Akhras' Comments to the Express
Syrian first lady, Asma Al-Assad, is definitely between a rock and a hard place, as she can't speak out against her own husband and, at the same time, she can't exactly openly support his actions. Luckily, she has her father, Fawaz Akhras, to backpedal for her. Although his comment about her having "British morals" have been deemed less than savory.
