99 Super-Muslim Heroes from Kuwait
Wham! Bam! Islam!
Making a more Halal world one Kufar (infidel, miscreant) at a time. These superhero Kuwait-inspired comic book characters are spurred on by God (adopting Allah's 99 names) to cleanse and save the world. There is no terrorism here- - this anti-Islamic notion is the preserve of the villainous and even the non-believers.
"WHAM! BAM! ISLAM! tells the story of Naif Al-Mutawa and his venture to create the first team of superheroes from the Muslim world called THE 99."

Come to the Dark Side, We Have Knafeh
The Arabic T-shirt stencil reads: Most of manhood is knowing when to run away! Or better to be a living chicken than a brave dead man.
"There are a couple of guys who are printing really funny t-shirts and selling them from their homes. I bought one of their creations at the Amman Street Art Fair. Unfortunately, I have no idea what they’re called or how you can get their t’s. But check out how hilarious these are:"

At The Third Arab Bloggers Meeting In Tunisia
There's no room for Palestinian bloggers at this inclusive Arab event, apparently. Palestinian would be blog-guests were barred by Tunisia from gaining visa entry.
"I’m here in Tunisia for the next four days at the third Arab Bloggers meeting, which has brought together what I think are some of the most significant digital voices in the Arab world today. It’s quite interesting to be in Tunisia, the first Arab country to gain its freedom from a tyrannical power and set the whole region ablaze with mass political movements."

Where does Al Jazeera [stands]? The People’s Television?
"These past week Al Jazeera television has been at the centre of debates following the resignation of Wadah Khanfar, Al Jazeera's top executive since 2003, after disclosures from the group WikiLeaks indicating that he had modified the network’s coverage of the Iraq war in response to pressure from the United States."
"The issue of Wadah Kanfar’s resignation and WikiLeaks’ revelation actually asked a much a deeper question: Where does AlJazeera [stands]?"
(According to their mission statement, they stand or orient themselves as 'setting the agenda' from the south. Bringing news from South to North- ed)

Faster internet but still useless
Change that is imperceptible or subtle is not the kind of change these Lebanon cyber-revolutionaries were seeking. They were all about the concrete criteria of bandwidth and gegabytes. None of this subtle speed upgrading that you might fail to notice were you to blink.
"IDM have updated their website with the new internet speeds and prices. Sure the slowest speed is now 1 Mbps but what’s the use when your total allotted bandwidth is just 5GB a month. Oh and that measly 5GB bandwidth which is already ridiculously small is actually the combined bandwidth of both your download and upload! Talk about useless internet."
