Armed Militias of Alawites emerging in Syria

The density of Alawites in Latakia has led to armed Alawi militas.
“The Formation of Alawite Militias in the Kassab region,” by Mohammad D.
"There are important new developments in Lattakia and its surrounding recently. The violence that started a few months back in the East and North of the city itself has not subsided.
Yesterday a rumor spread that the FSA had shelled al-Qurdaha, something its leaders have been wishing to do from day one. I think it is just a rumor, but, the big news is that the Alawis have started to form armed groups in some of the villages which are in direct contact with the Sunni villages."

Review: TED
As usual Seth MacFarlene comes through with raunchy and rude comedy with a lot of wit just using a Teddy Bear. Mark Walhberg plays the big kid with a live Teddy Bear, and they do the craziest things, just like big kids.
It has its very funny moments and you can tell its got a touch of Family Guy humor in the movie, and I love how they bring Flash Gordon into the movie. Surprisingly the one thing that is off is Mark Walhberg.

Is there a monarchical exception in the Arab world?

Kuwait represented at Ironman
Some members of The 3 Club competed in Ironman Austria recently and they were featured in a short documentary of the event. Ironman is a brutal long-distance triathlon race that consists of a 3.86km swim, 180.25km bike ride followed by a 42.2km run. It’s insane!
