While 'the mother of all battles' rages, we remember rest of Syria

As the world is watching carefully the on going battles taking place currently in Aleppo waiting to know if it is going to be the real Aleppo Liberation battle or not, civilians continue to be killed and slaughtered throughout Syria on a daily basis.

Between the daily killing happening in Syria and my believe against killing, I am torn.
Can the death of a dictator save lives ?
Will it be justified to save thousands of people ?
Do we have to be fair and just in war ?
If not, then how are we different from those killing us ?
