Bahrain's Revolution in Progess: Update on the Year Anniversary
Bahrain, a year on
This Bahraini blogger may see the situation in Bahrain as being in a bit of standstill right now, but he is not giving up on Bahrain or its people. If it isn't a day to reignite the revolution, it should be a day to remember its martyrs.
"On the 14th of February 2012, I shall be remembering and honoring the martyrs of this country who sacrificed their very lives in order for us all to have a better life."

Don’t insert “Islam” in anti valentine sentences!
People use all sort of things to justify their opinions all the time. But it's an unpleasant thing when religion is brought into it (which is more often than it should be). This writer and blogger hates the fact that people are unleashing their own insecurities about Valentine's Day through Islam. Please, if you have a personal vendetta against this western holiday, leave Islam out of it.
"Whatever it is…name it… But don’t contaminate Islam with your excuses…as Islam is holy and precious and deserves total respect than to hang our lameness on it…and for sure needs sincere attention regarding every major aspect in it.

Syria: We Will Never Surrender
The situation in Syria is getting to an unbearable stage. If you watch this plea from Syrian activist Khaled Abu Saleh, you will get a feel for exactly what is going on.
"Another tragedy for the dark annals of history is unfolding and we will never grasp just how deep this heinous crime runs." I take pride in the Muslim Brotherhood and in its moderate Islamist ideology. But my separation now is not a tactic. I do not represent the Brotherhood and am completely independent in terms of organization.
