Blaspheming Saudi Tweep Set to be Released

After much talk about Hamza Kashgari's tweets and eventual fate, it looks like this Saudi journalist is being let go. It looks like Saudi has averted a PR nightmare by accepting Kashgari's apology.

"Kashgari deleted the tweets, apologising repeatedly, but to no avail. He fled to Malaysia, with the intention of seeking asylum in New Zealand, but was deported home, where he faced charges of apostasy, which is punishable by death in Saudi Arabia."

It's a good thing that Netanyahu followed the path of politics instead of literature, as his grasp of effective metaphors is a bit lacking. His "duck" comment has led to much disdain on the blogosphere and Twitter alike.
