CNN covers Libya crisis from the wrong Tripoli

Tripoli of North Lebanon gets dragged onto the Libyan crisis map, just when we thought Beirut had become a place of peace.
CNN is Covering Libya Events from the Wrong Tripoli
"The New Kerala mixed up Lebanon with Libya back in February but now it seems that CNN has mixed up the Tripolis:"
The man-hunt for Gaddafi is probably scouring northern Lebanon as we speak...
In these times of media leading the news events rather than vica verse, this is a 'cautionary tale'- but just a minor blip- the media have had a lot of news to cover this year, errors will happen.

Google’s Political Activism
"Google Maps changed Gaddafi’s “Green Square” into “Martyrs Square” which is the new name the rebels gave it. We are cheering, of course, since Gaddafi is now fair play to everyone and Google got cheap publicity points."

An American fasting in Amman

"On 15 August 2011, I was invited by the Imams of a local mosque in Amman to join them for iftar.
In an effort to absorb more of the cultural nuances of Jordan, I decided to participate in the fasting aspect of Ramadan. This entails no food or drink from dawn to dusk. I made this decision relatively early in my time here, knowing that I would be in country during what is the socio-cultural/religious highlight of the year here."

Shower conflicts: When luke warm heats up...
Not about water waste, that is an issue for the Middle East in particular, but other water concerns:
"Oh my, our biggest disagreements, surprisingly enough, are about water. The Hub calls cold showers ‘refreshing’, I call them ‘torture’."
