U.S. must beheld accountable for their drone strikes in Pakistan

The US government must release its estimates of how many people are being killed in CIA drone strikes, to end an over-reliance on often scanty media reports, a new study on drone casualties says.

American officials have been trying to understand why hard-line Islamists have received such a large share of the arms shipped to the Syrian opposition.

“The opposition groups that are receiving the most of the lethal aid are exactly the ones we don’t want to have it,” said one unidentified American official….

An Israeli writes a tune about IDF soldiers, it gets censored and then consequently becomes popular.

"In a statement released by Galatz commander Yaron Dekel, he explained that the song “is contemptuous towards IDF soldiers.”

I personally do not think the song is contemptuous soldiers at all. IDF soldiers are young men and women who face difficult moral decisions every day, be they stationed on the streets of Hebron or in the corridors of Galatz (where I myself volunteer with a weekly program). The song treats these questions with rare seriousness."
