Dubai: City of International Business, not 'Innovation'

With its growing commerce, glittering touristic appeal and lack of political conflict, Dubai is fast growing as the Middle East's proverbial "it" city. Yet, as in the world of clichés, every rose has its thorns. In spite of branding itself as a land of fresh innovation and creativity, Dubai's attraction for big foreign businesses from all sectors is strangling chances for new startups and independent businesses.

Jumping on the bandwagon of the "Shit [insert anything under the sun] Say" craze, the David Project have decided to make a "Shit People Say About Israel" video. Trying to defend the Israeli cause, the video proves to be more offensive and inaccurate as opposed to informative and insightful.

As a result, this Palestinian blogger gives a rebuttal on each statement on the video, responding to common misconceptions on those supporting the Palestinian cause.
