Egyptian Man-Eater Omaima Nelson seeks parole for 1991 Husband Murder-Meal

Pictured with the newly wed husband, soon to be dead, Egyptian-born model and 24-year-old nanny Omaima Aree Nelson bludgeoned, skinned and chopped up her husband of two months--and twice her age- in 1991.
This California-convicted Egyptian-American now seeks parole.
Omaima Aree Nelson, Who Killed, Chopped Up, Cooked and Ate Husband of 2 Months, Seeks Parole
Not a bad joke, but the words of a woman now seeking parole in sunny California- where she hasn't seen the light of day in 20 years:
"Nothing tastes as good as the man I married. It's the sauce that does it."
"How could I forget that Thanksgiving weekend 1991 rampage? Egyptian-born model and 24-year-old nanny Omaima Aree Nelson bludgeoned, skinned and chopped up her husband of two months--and twice her age--in their Costa Mesa apartment. With her olive skin, slender form and impeccably dressed in red hat, red high heels and red lipstick, the newlywed went on to hold marathon sessions grinding the deceased's body parts in the garbage disposal. But she just couldn't get rid of all of 6-foot-4, 230 lbs. of William E. Nelson, criss-crossing the county in his red Corvette with trash bags filled with human remains she hoped ex-boyfriends would help her make disappear. So, she boiled, breaded, deep-fried and--yes--ate body parts, dipping the ribs in barbecue sauce and later joking, "Nothing tastes as good as the man I married. It's the sauce that does it." "

A Leb is a Leb even when abroad
Lebanese is never enough:
Even in Spain, a Lebanese has the same old questions and need to know exactly what faction of Lebanese you might be...
' "Suddenly, that same person said with a pinch of confidence: "bte7ko 3arabé?" In a Lebanese accent. I instincts turned towards him and smiled.
After some chit chat, he asks me: "where from?" Followed after some time by "what's your last name?" '

And the other side is also on Facebook!
"One of my pro-regime relatives has recently joined a group on Facebook called the "Algerian-Syrian Electronic Alliance". Apparently the group is there to coordinate the online efforts of the supporters of two fascist regimes, the generals of Algeria with the Assad regime in Syria."

"He’s an Icon, a symbol who is always seen in Central Amman. He’s the target of photographers and tourists who always visit downtown as part of their photography outing or when visiting the country to check it out. In this picture on Amman’s most known Facebook page he’s well known by all."

Alternative Ammani Fridays – Inner City Camping!
How do you like to use your Jordan Friday?
"One of the fun things about life in Amman is the regularity and uniformity of common day off, Fridays. Most people don’t work. Christian schools take Sunday off, for an oddly cool school week, everyone else takes Saturday. So Friday is the only day everyone has off. Most everyone sleeps in, don’t honk horns early, dads get the fixings for a traditional breakfast. Lots of men get up early for early morning football."
