Hassan Nasrallah Cartoon Stirs Trouble for Lebanese Cartoonist

Another day, another controversy over a cartoon. This time, the focus is on a cartoon of Hassan Nasrallah done by renowned Lebanese cartoonist Pierre Sadek. Considering that the cartoon is not a particularly negative depiction of the religious leader (the stuff that comes up on Google Images is A LOT worse in terms of poor taste), it remains to be seen what this backlash is all about.

So, it's well-known that Syria is kind of banning, well, everything online related left and right. The latest to be added is popular SMS alternative WhatsApp. So much for saving on text messaging.

Even the revered institution that is the New York Times can make a little typo, if this latest snafu is anything to go by. If snafus could come true, Secretary of State Hilary Rodham Clinton would be Russian President's Vladimir Putin's first lady as she is listed as Hilary Rodham Putin.

"As I was reading an article in the NY Times about the Russian elections, I was confused for a moment when I saw them mention someone by the name of Hillary Rodham Putin and referring to her as Secretary of State. Clinton, Putin, same thing for the NY Times apparently..."
