It seems that apathy is the dish of the day. With the media blackout in Syria, the attitude is: If I can't see it, it's not real. This "non-Syrian Syrian" blogger declares that the 300 dead in Homs are real enough and are our problem whether we want to believe it or not. History shouldn't be repeating itself in this bloody manner.

ISLAM AGAINST “THE THIRD JIHAD”
New York's Muslim Community has banded together to protest the NYPD's racism against Muslims. This was the result of an "anti-terrorist" training video called "The Third Jihad". The Islamophobic video portrays Muslim Americans as terrorist supporters who are part of a ploy to take over the U.S. government and even features Commissioner Ray Kelly actively participating.
