Shalabi to continue hunger strike despite sentence reduction
Many have been watching the situation of hunger strikers Hana Shalabi with great concern and anticipation. In spite of a reduced sentence, Shalabi will not yield from her strike.
"Israel is holding 309 Palestinians in administrative detention, according to figures by prisoners rights group Addameer. There are currently six Palestinian woman in Israeli custody."

Regarding the alleged NGOs deal
There has been a lot to be said about the whole NGO fiasco that has occurred in Egypt. Some felt that a lighter sentence was fair. Others thought that the Egyptian government had cut a deal at the expense of the judicial system's legitimacy.
