A Closer Look at KONY 2012
Unless you've been living under a rock, you are sure to have seen the words 'Kony 2012' at one point or another, whether in the news or your Facebook feeds. For those of you not in the know, here an in depth- and really quite helpful and intelligently written- guide of what (or who, to be more accurate) Kony is.
"KONY 2012 has changed the world. Whether Kony stays or goes is irrelevant. What matters is that people care again. The apathetic world which hides behind their keyboards and headphones, wants to plaster photos on the streets. Regardless of whether or not IC is legit, and why it lacks transparency, they should get a lot of credit for their society-changing campaign."

Kony 2012: Hype? Activism? Scam? – An Opinion
Another blog, another helpful guide. Instead of following Gino's analytical strand, Elie from Lebanon tackles Kony 2012 from the angle of the different view points on the issue. Again, if you know nothing about the topic, this is also very helpful and informative. Never a dull moment in the Middle Eastern blogosphere, is there?
"When it comes to Kony 2012, you cannot but care about the matter at hand. If you don’t, then you simply lack compassion. However, the whole affair is not exactly very peachy. The organization responsible for the movie, Invisible Children, doesn’t allow its finances to be audited. Therefore, you cannot know where your donations are actually going."

Eight Messages to the Christian Community from Israel
"It is becoming a common occurrence in Israel to hear about Jews burning churches, spitting on Christian clerics, burning Christian Bibles and intimidating and harassing other Jews who believe in Jesus. Unfortunately this is almost unheard of from the Western media. If it was not for the internet this would be unknown to millions of people around the world."

Christian Zionism: A Lecture in Cairo
In the Middle East, it seems like Christian Zionists are bit of an urban myth. You know they exist, but you heard about them that one time you were eavesdropping on conversation while in a public bus. Here's a bird's eye view on the exact opinions of Christian Zionists and why they support the existence of Israel, based on the play-by-play of a lecture given by Reverend Sizer while visiting Cairo.
"According to Sizer, Christian Zionism is the view that the modern state of Israel is the fulfillment of Biblical prophecy and thus deserving of our moral and political support."
