Even FBI agents do a "whoopsie". Luckily, Obama made it safe and sound to the G20 Summit in France.

Playin’ the Culture Card Sometimes Fails When You Break The Law
Everyone has played the 'dumb foreigner' card ("Me no understand") to get out of some sticky situations. But using it to get out of domestic abuse charges is kind of pushing it, as this Jordan-based American blogger notes.

Love And Marriage: Are We Settling to Settle Down?
In spite of what the ironically saccharine lyrics of the "Married with Children" theme song say (it's stuck in your head now, isn't it), love and marriage is a complicated terrain. It is even more complicated for educated, intelligent, independent women. This Iraqi American blogger discusses the "it's complicated" status of such a women and the expectation to just settle.
"A woman who is intelligent, smart and independent has, and will always have, a harder time finding a mate than a woman who is not. And the very reason is -- very few men like smart women.Generalization yes, but show me a man who relishes in the fact that he's dumber, uglier and less financially fruitful than his wife."
