Men should try wearing the Hijab as Egypt unveils changes

Should the Hijab stay the preserve of woman folk? Men should try it before commenting or having a say, say some bold women in Egypt standing up to the hijab wave that threatens to make veiled changes post Mubarak Egypt.
Egypt: Men Should Wear the Veil!
A campaign by a liberal offset of Egyptians who anticipate Islamist tendencies in the new Egyptian future tells men to try the hijaab themselves before they dictate what their womenfolk should do:
"With Islamists rising in post-revolution Egypt, fear of religious oppression is growing among youth, minorities, and women. Recently, a group of Egyptian women started a Facebook page in Arabic called “Echoing Screams” pointing out sexism in their society and the oppression that might be coming with the expected arrival of Islamists in power. The group has also started an event “Wearing Hijab in solidarity with women” [ar] that had the following description:///"

A SENSE OF BELONGING
Exiting our local metro station the other day I saw this sign posted above the entrance: (translation)
"The hijab (Islamic head covering) is a religious obligation, just like prayer. Cover yourself before you are held accountable."

Thank You, New York Times, For Making Us Free
"I’ve never seen an Iraqi break dance before. But apparently Tim Arangon and Yasir Ghazi have.
You see, these New York Times reporters are truly on the cutting edge. They dig deep. They unearth the worms. They uproot the, well, roots. Everybody else is too lazy, or too stupid, to do any serious journalism. Everybody else covers the same old Negative Nancy material."

When the cat goes away…
I couldn't agree more when it comes to 'mozzies': those pests that upset many nights of my sleep and not to mention awake time spent itching.(ed)
"Goood morning everyone! Hope you guys had a lovely weekend and a good nights sleep.
I on the other hand, slept about 2 hours last night. Reason? THOSE #%#$%^ing MOSQUITOES!"

A wedding and 3 potential suitors
"This past week was my brothers wedding! Mabroook to them both! I wish them a full and happy life.
It was truly a great event. Lots of people, lots of dancing and lots of food which in my book equals to all good things. My calves hurt the next day from all the dancing I did, with my new dance moves that I learned from my younger cousins. (I wonder what I was doing while they were dancing? Another story for another time)"

How to sculpt an apartheid state with a calculator
"Arnon Sofer is a geographer, a demographer, and an expert sculptor of Israeli apartheid. His name might not ring a bell for most people, but only because his direct involvement in politics is overshadowed by the magnitude of his contribution to a decades-old legacy of forced separation. His influence, however, leaves its mark on Palestinians daily."
