Mohamed Bouazizi to be Honored Through National Stamps

In remembrance of the man that helped ignite the Arab Spring, the Tunisian government has released a set of postage stamps that honor Mohamed Bouazizi.

National student unions are always butting heads with government institutions, whether it is for funding or maintenance of student rights. The National Union of Israeli Students (NUIS) apparently has nothing to worry about as it has been funded $2,000 to spread Israeli propaganda on social networks such as Facebook!

"In most countries student unions often find themselves at odds with state authorities, fighting for the rights of students. But it would appear that Israel’s 'student union' does not so much represent students and fight for their rights, but represents the state in the state’s efforts to recruit students to do its political bidding."

Child soldiers have always been a criticism and a major concern in underdeveloped countries. Apparently, in the "developed" state of Israel, it is perfectly acceptable to enlist children as armed border police against Palestinian workers as is shown through these photographs and links.

"As if the imagery of armed Israeli children isn’t shocking enough, the program’s mission is worse: to guard Israel’s illegal settlements, to operate military checkpoints, and to deport Palestinians — back into Palestine — at their discretion."

The internet is a massive source of never-ending paranoia. And for good reason too! If you are a blogger, you could be put under great risk to be targeted by stalkers- everyone's favorite creeper. A chuckle moment occurred at yesterday's protests in Jordan! A young veiled woman put up a banner siting a popular meme, translating it in near-perfect manner in Arabic.
