In several ways, many people were rooting that Mohamed El Baradei would be just that. In light of Mubarak's ousting anniversary and the pushing forward of the presidential elections, this Egyptian blogger states that Baradei was never up to the task in the first place. Discuss.

700 Palestinian prisoners start gradual hunger strike on Tuesday
In protest of the living conditions of Israeli prisons, 700 Palestinians are beginning a gradual hunger strike in order to improve incarceration conditions. If the terms are not met accordingly, it could end up becoming an open-ended strike involving all Palestinian prisoners.
"The demands also include restoring university education, improving food at the prison canteen, ending the policy of medical neglect, allowing broadcast of a number of satellite channels topped by Al-Jazeera, and ending mass punishments especially storming of cells."
