New Tunisian Government Promises Gay Rights

"Some are concerned what social changes might come with the victory of Tunisia’s Islamist party in the country’s first free vote since the Arab Spring overthrow of autocratic president Ben Ali. Nahda party spokesman Riad Chaibi has offered reassurances that the new leadership does not want to deprive citizens of individual freedoms, going so far as to say that being gay is “a matter of dignity”:"

"Everyone and their mother is now calling to vote for Jeita to make it among the new 7 wonders of the world, and even celebrities and politicians are getting involved in the voting campaigns."

Sounds like harsh measures following a 5 year relentless campaign to save solidie lives (or a single life at that!)

"The Israeli army orders to fire at and liquidate captors of soldiers even if that meant the killing of the soldiers reflected a state of panic and fear of Palestinian resistance, Hamas spokesman Dr. Sami Abu Zuhri said on Wednesday."

Does this really surprise anyone after Tracy Emin showcased her rather disarrayed bedroom and won a high-brow art contest?

Human rights organizations described the gruesome killing of Gaddafi a war crime. Most certainly, if Gaddafi’s horrid photos were not revealed on TV screens and the front pages of newspapers, not many would have admonished the rebels for the slaying of the dictator....

I have been pretty disciplined lately. I go to work, do my job, arrive on time and leave on time. I go to gym after work and then usually home. At home, and after a long day, I regularly make time to read or draw, or even write. Recently, I have also started attending an acting class at the royal film commission for twice a week 6-9 after work and for 6 months. It is a pretty full schedule, one that I enjoy, although I would prefer to have less conventional working hours and more time for my other productive hobbies....
