Let’s Talk About Sectarianism, Baby
Sectarianism has always been a bit of a dirty word. It connotes war, intolerance, discrimination and backward thinking. According to this blogger, it is the hindrance that keeps the Arab world from progressing, calling it the cancer that is the result of invented colonial nation states.
"A person is not sectarian merely by being part of a certain sect nor is the existence of different sects in a society inherently a bad thing. Quite the opposite, when there is peace in such a society, it shows a society at its zenith, one where all opinions are accepted, allowed and flourish together. No doubt, sectarianism in its negative sense, during times of war, has led to some of the worst atrocities in modern Arab history."

Hummus and falafel are already "Israeli." Now they’re coming for Palestine’s olive oil too
It isn't a new concept that Israeli propaganda has used food to create a pseudo national identity. But as translated and reported by the Electronic Initifada, it comes as a bit ironic that the Israelis have labeled themselves as the keepers of that age-old "Jewish" staple: Olive oil. The ironic part is that settlers have a reported history of attacking olive tree harvesst and uprooting several olive trees, as shown on several newscast videos embedded in the post.

Jerusalem is "Al Quds" Lets not forget that!
With all that is going on with the Gaza Strip, it is easy to forget about Jerusalem. According to this Palestinian blogger, Gaza isn't the only thing Palestine. Palestine is more and Jerusalem should not be forgotten as a lost gem particularly with the ethnic cleansing procedures that are happening.
"Many of you already know about the history of Jerusalem. But for those who have misleading info or shortage in info about Al Quds I have a few words for you: Jerusalem “Al Quds” is the capital of Palestine. Enough said. I don’t need to say more."

The way to The unclear #Jan25Two
As the anniversary of January 25th nears, the anticipation for what might happen is ever growing. You never know what might happen. For this Egyptian blogger, that is the scary part. With a few unresolved problems on the horizon, it seems that the results of the revolution could go in any given direction.
"Nobody expected that the original #Jan25 would turn in to a revolution on January 28th yet everybody is anticipating what is going to happen on #Jan25 two this year as well those 17 days following it more than ever."
