Is Syria folding in from the Lion's heart in Damascus?

Is this the endgame for Syria? We always thought it would be a sign of doom for Assad when Damascus looked under siege and the regime had nowhere left to hide:

"The explosion that killed three of Bashar Assad’s inner circle Wednesday eliminated the Syrian president’s top security team and, along with fighting in the capital, may indicate the regime is crumbling, Syria analysts say."

The Sham suicide bombing that took out many of Assad's men...

On the claims that it were the terrorists that did it...

"The point here is that we pretend Terrorism has some sort of objective meaning and that it is the personification of pure evil which all decent people (and Good Western nations) by definition categorically despise, when neither of those claims is remotely true."

Our favorite American Arab, Nedda, wears her heart on her sleeve and shares candidly her feelings upon Facebook-discovering her ex's marriage. I'm sure many of us have been there in this new-age Facebook social playingfield, learning of marriages, births, even deaths through FB. It's a minefield for 'ex'-news.
