Syria maps out its killing spree

A map of Syria. Written on each city (in Arabic), its name and the number of martyrs from it.
Map of Syria's victims
Map of Syria with victims per province — I'm not sure who this tallies includes (civilians, armed rebels, pro-govt forces?) and I say victims although the original word is martyrs, because I can't stand that word.

Fund Raising: Playtime – Waqt Al La’ab
Hamad Al-Tourah is a Kuwaiti writer and filmmaker who is currently getting ready to shoot a short film here in Kuwait in about 3 weeks time. Right now he’s in the pre-production phase and is currently casting actors/actresses for the roles. He is also raising funds to cover the cost of equipment and production so he’s got a Kickstarter kinda thing going on.

2012 Formula 1 Belgian Grand Prix – Abu Dhabi Sport Timings
F1′s back! And it’s no coincidence either that so am I. After a much-needed break from all things related to social media, I feel refreshed and pumped again. Kicking it off with F1′s return from holiday, as well as a race hosted at one of the world’s best circuits, seems like it’s just the right time for me to get back into the swing of things.

Apple Pie Hunt
I posted earlier about my hunt for the best Apple Pie in Kuwait. After trying 5 different pies, I decided to stop at the sixth one I had. Why? I simply felt nothing can satisfy me after the sixth. First of all, apple pies come in 3 versions as far as I’m concerned: the American pie which comes covered – usually like a dome, the traditional homemade one (bottom left), and the Dutch apple crumble above.
