It turns out Syria IS Iraq & midwives are important!: spoof of Friedman!

Lord knows I am rooting for the opposition forces in Syria because I want you to think of me as a freedom-loving type of guy. But we both know that they won’t prevail, primarily because that means all my arguments of the past thirty years would be proven wrong. Also, because Syria is Iraq. Think of this: if you take out the Q and add an S and a Y, and rearrange the R, I and A, you will see that Syria is indeed Iraq. Also, they are both generic and interchangeable Middle Eastern countries. And this will save me having to do any research about Syria. They were both ruled by men with moustaches. Like me, but let’s not dwell on that.

Yay for a surprise mid-week comic! Also, what was the deal with the electricity yesterday?! It kept cutting out every 10 minutes! I swear I felt my house had turned into a Christmas tree!

I believe I have mentioned before that I gave classes at Amman Baccalaureate School for the summer camp for the last five weeks, still one more week to go~

Sharing the experience of arts and crafts is a wonderful thing especially that my students were so creative and funny! I enjoyed every moment watching the creative art work as much as the scribbles.

Today is one of the good days, or lets say the special ones. Not just because I crossed the 100,000 follower mark on twitter and was humbled by a congratulations (Alf Mabrook) and a “follow” from Her Majesty Queen Noor, but also because I received the official confirmation of a 12 years old dream.
