Woman Leaves Husband in Pieces, Then Throws Him to the Dogs

They say that love is blind, but apparently it's deadly, as well. An Egyptian woman stabbed her husband after a night of sexual acts, chopped him up into little pieces and then fed him to stray dogs and cats. Revenge is a dish best served cold, but this is taking it too much of a literal basis.

"It also took her nearly two weeks to plan for the murder. After surfing through the internet for a good plot that could elude police, she found that the best way is to exhaust him by having sex with him all the night so he will fall asleep."

It's all good to discuss love and marriage, but, unfortunately, economics plays a very part. Poverty within marriage is an issue that further complicates the beaten down women of impoverished regions.

"The burdens of poverty affect most, if not all aspects, of social relations. Most prominently (and unsurprisingly), women carry the greatest burden of the social predicaments that arise from a dire lack of economic security."

The Kuwaiti parliament had a party, but forgot to invite all the ladies. Previously discussed on Al Bawaba, the Kuwaiti parliamentary elections were a sore point for women, as there were none who made it. This Middle East blogger discusses the importance of their presence.

"Irrespective of causes of this manifestation, which are many, what happened in Kuwait was no democracy wedding. The reason is simple. My colleague, (Saudi woman writer) Amal Abdul Aziz al-Hazani, described a Kuwaiti parliament without any woman legislator best in a one-liner. 'In truth,' she quipped, 'I don’t know of a wedding without women.'"

This isn't the first time that someone is using a social network to do a bit of altruism. A lady, who goes by 'Ms. Pin', has started a magazine called Pinned Monthly where she highlights the best of Pinterest and is making money out of her pinning passion.

Only, she isn't keeping the cash to herself. Instead mysterious 'Ms. Pin' is donating her proceedings to an organization called Room to Read, which is "a global organization dedicated to literacy and gender equality in education".
