$4 million to rebuild and to refurbish schools in Southern Iraq
According to <i>AZZAMAN</i> newspaper, the Iraqi cabinet announced the allocating of $4 million to rebuild and to refurbish schools in Southern Iraq. The cabinet added that the government has already started rebuilding 38 schools and it hopes to rebuild another 276 schools.
The cabinet also reported that all these schools will be rebuilt through Iraqi national contracting companies since this step makes these projects to cost less and provides jobs to Iraqis. The cabinet also reported that this project comes in the framework of the Iraqi schools reconstructing scheme.
