4,770 new companies established in Jordan so far in 2001

The Jordanian Ministry of Commerce and Industry reported that 4,770 new companies were registered in Jordan during the first 11 months of 2001, reported Al-Rai . This included 30 public joint stock enterprises with a capital of 80.5 million Jordanian Dinars ($114 million), 538 limited liability companies with a capital of JD 80.5 million, 3,776 partnership companies with a capital of JD 40.8 million and 453 limited partnership companies with a capital of JD 5.3 million. — (menareport.com)
