Al Aqariya Media Group to promote AED 7 billion Emirates Flag project in Ras Al Khaimah

Al Aqariya Media Group, a leading media conglomerate based in Dubai Media City, has announced its decision to promote the AED 7 billion Emirates Flag development in Ras Al Khaimah. The project, being conceptualised and developed by High Rise Real Estate in association with Ras Al Khaimah Free Zone Authority (RAKFTZ), Dream Industrial Park FZCO, and A&A Investment Group, adopts a design based on the UAE Flag.

The Emirates Flag Development is spread over seven blocks, with each block themed around one of the emirates. Every block will have a residential tower, hotel and office tower, complete with local art, food and décor from the emirate represented in the design of the block.

Al Aqariya’s move to promote the Emirates Flag project follows its recent signing of an agreement with Ta’sees, a premier development and investment company in the UAE, to promote the Airport Towers project in Ras Al Khaimah. “As we continue with our strategy to involve ourselves with prestigious projects in the UAE, we are glad to extend our support to the Emirates Flag development, which is set to be a revelation as far as design and architecture are concerned,” said Eng. Mohammed Saleh, President of Al Aqariya Group.

“The property and real estate sector growth in Ras Al Khaimah has been remarkable in the recent months, and a project of the stature of Emirates Flag will add significant value to the overall advancement of the emirate. We are committed to promote this unique project locally and regionally, and we look forward to offering all media and promotional support to ensure adequate investor interest,” he added.

An interesting aspect of the Emirates Flag project is that about 20 per cent of the development will be built in the sea, bridging land and sea. This provides office, homes and hotel rooms in the project picturesque views of the RAK coast line. The project also boasts of a large man made marina built to moor the yachts and boats.

Each residential tower in the development will face the sea and will consist of 160, one bedroom flats of 800sq ft each, 120 studio flats of 450 sq ft each and 120, two bedroom flats of 1,200 sq ft respectively.

The middle building in every block is an exclusive 5 star hotel, comprising 350 rooms, fully equipped with retail outlets, health clubs and banquet halls. Each hotel is uniquely themed to reflect the history and the spirit of the Emirate it represents.

Commercial office buildings make up a third of the entire development. Each office tower has 25 floors and a total built up area of 300,000 sq ft, and offers a full service business centre in each tower, in addition to retail shops.

Al Aqariya Media Group is the first media group in the region to offer dedicated property media services and has a team of experienced and qualified professionals. The company’s media interests include Al Aqariya News, an English news channel; RENA, a first-of-its-kind real estate news agency; and two magazines – Al Aqariya World and Billion Plus.
