Arab investors hold 2,183 shares in Egyptian firms
Recently published statistics by the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones show that Arab investors hold shares in 2,183 companies in Egypt, reported Al-Sharq Al-Awsat. The total capital of these enterprises is estimated at 62 billion Egyptian Pounds ($14 billion), of which Arab financiers contribute EP 13.9 billion. The total investment cost of joint Egyptian-Arab companies is assessed at EP 85 billion. — (menareport.com)
