AUJAN appoints Initiative Media for media planning and buying
Aujan Industries, the largest, independently-owned soft drink and confectionery manufacturer, marketer and distributor in the Middle East, has appointed Initiative Media, a division of the Fortune Promoseven Group, to manage the company’s media planning and buying function for the next three years.
Commenting on the two-way pitch, Alex Andarakis, chief executive officer of Aujan Industries said, “Initiative Media was way ahead in terms of their overall strategic approach to media research, innovation, planning and buying. Currently based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Aujan’s vision is to expand its operation to the rest of the Middle East, Iran, as well as East and North Africa over the coming years. One of the foundations of the company’s growth is its long association with leading international brands such as Cadbury, Wrigley’s, Pepsi and Lipton International as well as Coca-Cola. Aujan Industries were established in 1905 and thus celebrate their centennial anniversary this year.
