Bahrain e-government goes live on Oracle e-business suite
Enterprise software company Oracle Corporation announced that the government of Bahrain has gone live on Oracle E-Business Suite 11i. Bahrain Ministry of Finance and National Economy (MOFNE) led the project signaling the e-government transformation in Bahrain.
The project's objective is to enable government-wide efficient planning and management of resources including finance, budgeting and procurement. Oracle E-Business Suite has been deployed for all 30 Bahrain government ministries and departments, using an Application Service Provisioning (ASP) model that is hosted by the MOFNE. — (menareport.com)
