Housing loans worth some BD30 million will be disbursed among 1,500 families in the upcoming days, following directives from Bahrain's Prime Minister Shaikh Khalifa bin Salman al Khalifa. A report in Akhbar Al Khaleej daily has indicated that those who had applied for loans in 2001 to purchase new homes or rebuild existing ones are set to benefit.
