The expected BD1 billion Northern Town will ease housing problems in the area, Northern Governorate elected representatives has said recently. The Works and Housing Ministry has received bids for the project's land reclamation, ranging from BD79.8 million to BD108.5 million.
According to the GDN, the houses will accommodate some 99,000 people, divided on three districts.
