Bayer launches new anti-impotence pill in the UAE
Bayer HealthCare has launched the latest oral medication for the treatment of erectile dysfunction (ED) Levitra in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Levitra, developed by Bayer HealthCare, is an oral drug that works by blocking a particular enzyme. Gulf Regional Manager for Bayer HealthCare Middle East Ayman Elhefnawi said; “It is estimated that 15 percent of men over the age of 30 in the Middle East suffer with ED and many of them in silence.”
Both the European Commission (EC) and the FDA have approved Levitra. Bayer HealthCare is a subgroup of Bayer AG. It combines the global activities of the divisions of Bayer AG in the fields of biological products, consumer care, diagnostics and pharmaceuticals.
