DED's overall customer satisfaction index at 83 percent
Dubai’s Department of Economic Development (DED) recorded an overall customer satisfaction index of 83 percent, based on the results of its third annual Customer Satisfaction Survey, conducted in April.
The Department has an excellent reputation in terms of overall performance and image, according to 87 percent respondents of the survey. More than 85 percent respondents also expressed their satisfaction with the systems and procedures in place at the DED.
The extensive study was conducted to generate feedback about the quality of services at the DED and targeted more than 25,518 commercial establishments across the emirate. The speed of providing services was lauded by 85.3 percent of the respondents while 82.7 percent commended the courteous behavior of the employees at DED.
DED was established in 1992, with the objective to organize, regulate and boost trade and industry within the Emirate of Dubai. The DED has molded its mission of building a futuristic establishment, in accordance with the vision of the Government of Dubai and in the light of globalization and the requirements of a digital economy.
One of its key functions is to encourage local and foreign investments in commercial and industrial projects, and create the appropriate environment for investors. — (menareport.com)
