Dubai Gold & Jewelry Group conducts training for retailers
Dubai’s Gold and Jewelry Group recently organized a three-day customized training workshop for jewelry retailers on retail selling, entrepreneurship and attitudinal orientation. Over 100 retailers attended the training sessions conducted by SMM-ART Consultancy Services, a leading Indian training and consultancy firm.
The training workshops were conducted after an extensive survey among Dubai’s jewelry retailers to ascertain the types of training required to maximize customer service orientation and the selling potential of the retailers. The workshops addressed two separate groups, owners and salespeople through ‘Leadershift’ a leadership training session for owners and ‘Unleash your Potential’, a session on retail selling for salespeople.
“Our ongoing strategy ensures that our members receive several management development inputs from the Group,” said Tawhid Abdullah, chairman of the Gold and Jewelry Group. “The tightly tailored training programs have helped each participant to maximize his selling potential through providing world class service.”
“The Group policy of promoting Dubai as the City of Gold has been built meticulously by ensuring that we continue to offer the best products at the best prices. Undoubtedly, best service is also a key element in our success, and this is something we are constantly building on.”
An association of more than 475 gold and jewelry outlets in Dubai, the Gold and Jewelry Group is responsible for promoting and improving the gold and jewelry trade in Dubai. — (menareport.com)
