Dusit selected as crew hotel for Thai Airways in Dubai
Dusit Dubai, the first Asian hotel in the Middle East, has signed a three-year contract with Thai Airways International (THAI), making it THAI’s official crew hotel in Dubai. Thai Airways, which has been flying the Middle East skies for the past 20 years, flies to Dubai seven times a week, Kuwait three times and Muscat three.
Dusit Hotels & Resorts offers accommodation, dining, modern facilities and service for both business and leisure travelers. Throughout Thailand, Asia and the Middle East where its properties are located, the Dusit brand has been offering the Thai hospitality.
THAI airline, which recorded a profit of 165 million Emirati dirhams last year, has the second highest market share on its flights from Bangkok to Dubai after Emirates airline, both in the number of flights a week and the amount of passengers. The total seat capacity from Bangkok to the region on the airline is just under 4,000 a week.
Last year, more than 10 million people visited Thailand, a 5.8 percent increase on the previous year. Similarly, the number of visitors from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to Thailand reached 36,7000 last year. This was a 7.5 percent increase on the previous year. — (menareport.com)
