ENOC lubes enters Afghani market
Emirates National Oil Company Limited (ENOC) LLC, has entered Afghanistan with a market-specific range of lubricants, following the signing of a distribution agreement with Kabul-based Inayat Zia Limited, according to a company press release. Afghanistan becomes the 18th international market for ENOC lubricants, which are now on sale across the Middle East, Africa, Far East and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS)—the former Soviet republics.
"Afghanistan is a very promising market as it has just started its redevelopment. The sooner we are able to establish our presence there, the quicker we will be able to respond to the challenges," said Hussain Sultan, ENOC Group chief executive. Under the deal, ENOC's specially developed Protec Max Special and Vulcan Plus HD lubricants will be sold across Afghanistan, through Inayat Zia's nationwide network and a series of ENOC-driven marketing and promotional initiatives.
"We developed these new products specifically for use in the extreme and diverse Afghani weather and terrain," said Tayyeb Al-Mulla, ENOC International Refining and Marketing chief executive. "We are among the first lubricants marketers to have invested in advertising and promotional campaigns in Afghanistan. We have already installed several billboards on main roads across the country and have branded a considerable number of lubricant retail outlets," said Al-Mulla. — (menareport.com)
