French Alstom Power signs $408 million contract with Saudi Arabia
The Saudi Minister of Electricity and Industry, and Chairman of the Board of the Saudi Electricity Company, Hashem Yamani, recently signed a $408.8 million contract with the French Alstom Power Company, reports in Al-Hayat daily said.
Under the contract, the French enterprise will execute the second phase of establishment of the electricity generation station in the Saudi region of Shuayba. Alstom Power is expected to construct the fourth and fifth units of the station, with a capacity of 750 megawatts, over the next 15 months. –(MENA Report)
