GCC investments into the IT industry poised to reach US$5 billion in 2007

GCC investments into the IT industry is poised to reach USD 5 billion in 2007 with Saudi Arabia and the UAE accounting for 47% and 30% of this total respectively according to the latest IDC reports. Addressing the demands of the booming SMB sector, which is driving the investment, NETGEAR, a worldwide provider of technologically advanced, branded networking products, has announced its participation at the upcoming Digital Business Channel (DBC) MEA 2007. The company will showcase its complete range of ‘ProSafe’ products along with its networking and storage solutions at the event, which is slated to run from November 19 to 21, 2007 at Le Meridien Al Aqah Beach Resort in Fujairah.

NETGEAR will highlight its ProSafe Smart Wireless Solutions and the complete range of networking and storage solutions for the SMB market to a target audience comprising of value added resellers, system integrators and end-users. Included in the ProSafe product line is the ProSafe Smart Wireless Switch (WFS709TP) and the ReadyNAS range of desktop and rack-mounted network storage solutions. The powerful and affordable 8-Port Gigabit Ethernet Smart Switch (GS108T) and the robustly featured 24 and 48-port 10/100/1000 Smart PoE Switches (GS724TP and GS748TP) are also some of the other popular products that will feature in the NETGEAR stand.
