Gold and Jewelry Group reports sales in excess of $53 million in first 2 weeks of DSF 2004
The Gold and Jewelry Group has reported that sales of gold and jewelry in Dubai soared to 195 million Emirati dirhams ($53 million) in just twelve days since the start of the Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) 2004.
Following the group’s announcement last week that gold and jewelry sales have increased by almost 20 percent against the same period in 2003, the group, who represent almost 500 members of the gold and jewelry retail and manufacturing trade, have forecast that this year’s DSF is now well on track to become one of the most successful years that the group has ever seen. — (menareport.com)
