Gulf Air Cargo Managers and General Sales Agents meet in Bahrain
Gulf Air Cargo Managers and General Sales Agents from the Gulf, Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region met at the Hilton Hotel in Bahrain to discuss and address issues of mutual interest and concern.
At meetings and workshops chaired by Ali Murtada, Gulf Air’s Head of Cargo, delegates reviewed the division’s performance during 2004 and defined strategies for growth during 2005.
During 2004 Gulf Air Cargo significant changes were implemented in the running of the cargo and mail operation, and the cargo division Gulf Air Cargo was restructured and established as a separate unit. Performance improved significantly and the division ended the year ahead of budget, recording revenue of BD 53.3 m (USD 141.4 m), an increase of 20.4 pc over 2003.
