IDB finances two new projects in Yemen and Saudi Arabia
The Islamic Development Bank (IDB)’s Association for Developing the Private Sector recently agreed to finance two new projects in Yemen and Saudi Arabia, reported Al-Hayat. Yemen’s Mineral Water Manufacturing Company and Saudi Arabia’s Abdullatif Jamjoum & Sons Company will receive funds to develop the bottling and packaging of their products.
IDB consists of 53 member-countries, with each country being a member of the Organization of the Islamic Conference. The purpose of the Bank is to foster the economic development and social progress of member countries and Muslim communities individually as well as jointly in accordance with the principles of Shari'ah Law.
