Iranian Russian banking cooperation
According to Al-Hayat newspaper, The Russian Central Bank announced that the Iran Melli Bank, a leading credit bank in the Islamic Republic of Iran, will open a branch in Moscow next year. The Governor of the Iranian Central Bank will visit Russia in order to inaugurate this branch, which is expected to boost exports and import operations between the two countries.
Two days ago, the Iranian and Russian Central Bank signed a bilateral cooperation agreement in Moscow. The Governor of the Russian Central Bank, Victor Girachechenko, said that this memorandum will stimulate commercial transactions between the two states.
