Exports from Isfahan’s Folad-Mobarakeh Complex will hit 800,000 tons by the end of the current Iranian calendar year 1383 (March, 20 2004-March 19, 2005).
The complex exports manager, in an interview with the Mehr News Agency, said that the Mobarakeh Steel Complex intends to export 35 percent of its products during the current Iranian fiscal year.
According to Davud Khadem, the export volume is predicted to amount to one million tons of various products already being manufactured at the complex.
During the last Iranian year 1382 (March 20, 2003-March 19, 2004) Mobarakeh Complex exported 503,600 tons of products valued at $158 million, a 45 percent rise compared to the same period of the Iranian year 1381.
Khadem added that in the first two months of the current year the complex has exported 300,000 tons. (menareport.com)
