Iraq to hold scientific convention
According to <i>Alfourat</i> newspaper, the Iraqi technical education foundation, which belongs to the ministry of higher education and scientific research, is organizing its ninth scientific convention with the participation of scientists and experts from Iraqi universities. The convention is to be held in the 28th of this month.
The president of the foundation, Mahmoud Shaker Abedelhusein, said that the convention would last for two days and will focus on researches in various fields, which are important for the scientific development of Iraq, including in fields such as technology, medicine, management and education.
In another development, Abedelhusein indicated that many associates of the foundation were sent to participate in various workshops to enrich and develop their technical skills so they can pass that to other Iraqi employees.
