Japan National Oil Corp. to participate in Iranian field

Japan National Oil Corp. plans to participate in development of the Azadegan field, Iran's largest field.  

JNOC said it would carry out the project as a partner with Japan Petroleum Exploration Co. and Indonesia Petroleum Co. 

JNOC may provide funds for surveys that could lead to future discussions on exploration rights in Iran.
