Lebanon’s customs revenue up 29 percent in January
Lebanon’s revenue from customs duties, the government’s major source of income, increased by 28.97 percent in January from December 2000 to $94.20 million.
On a year-to-year basis customs duties revenue decreased by 12.34 percent from $107.46 million in January 2000, noting that tariff cuts were introduced in December 2000. — (Banque du Liban et d'Outre-Mer Sal)
